Jon joined Schooner as the Controller in 2011. Jon is responsible for managing the accounting operations as well as monitoring tax compliance. Prior to Schooner, Jon spent 10 years in public accounting at Tonneson + Co where he worked with a diverse group of privately-held companies and not-for-profit organizations.
Jon has an undergraduate
business degree, concentration in accounting from Merrimack College and a master's of science in taxation degree from the Elkin B. McCallum Graduate School of Business at Bentley University.
He is also licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
