Mr. John E. Wennberg, M.D., MPH, is a Co-Founder of Foundation for Informed Medical Decision Making, Inc. In 1988, Mr. Wennberg founded the Center for Evaluative Clinical Services (CECS), now called The Dartmouth Center for Health Policy and Clinical Practice (TDI), at Dartmouth Medical School. He is the Peggy Y. Thomson Professor Emeritus in the
Evaluative Clinical Sciences at Dartmouth, and has been a professor in the department of community and family medicine since 1980 and in the department of medicine since 1989. He has been a Director of Healthwise, Incorporated since 2014. He recently published the book Tracking Medicine: A Researcher's Quest to Understand Healthcare. He holds a MD from McGill University Faculty of Medicine and a MPH from John Hopkins University.
