John is a seasoned technologist, manager and company director. John is currently the CEO of the New Zealand Manufacturers and Exporters Association, and holds a number of directorships and chairs several boards. He is a shareholder in a number of technology companies.
He has managed substantial export companies, taught on Master of Business
Administration programmes. He holds many patents and has long experience in the development, protection and commercialisation of intellectual property. Long experience was built with General Electric, Rolls Royce, Thorn EMI and Gallagher among others.
John is a: Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of Institute of Professional Engineers NZ, the New Zealand Institute of Management and the Institute of Quality Assurance UK and a member of Institute of Electrical Engineers UK.
Family, friends, home, orchard and his Jaguar XKR take up most of the time that remains.
