John Scharkey is an unwavering and zealous trial lawyer who represents publicly traded and closely held companies, partnerships, and individuals in complex litigation matters. His experience in court is extensive and wide ranging. John regularly represents and counsels clients in antitrust and trade regulation matters, as well as unfair competition
and business torts litigation. He has also represented and counseled clients who were targets of governmental investigations.
During law school, John was awarded the prestigious Philip H. Corboy Fellowship. As a Corboy Fellow, John received concentrated, intensive instruction in trial advocacy by Chicago’s most accomplished trial lawyers and judges. The trial skills John developed have contributed to his successful record.
