John Sanchez oversees Marketwired's customer engagement and lean process redesign initiatives. He has direct responsibility for the company's editorial operations and for the client support teams that service Sysomos-powered products across the enterprise. In this role, he builds and maintains strong, loyal client relationships by
aligning business strategy, operating plans and performance metrics with employee engagement and continuous improvement practices – in turn, delivering market solutions that exceed customer and partner expectations.
Immediately prior to joining Marketwired, John served in an executive level role as Assistant General Manager of Parx Casino, an organization with over $500 million in annualized revenues. He was responsible for customer engagement programs, all aspects of casino operations and the success of more than 1500 team members. John brings to Marketwired more than 26 years of experience in leading successful teams at front line and executive management levels, working in engineering, operational, and financial roles across diverse industries.
His first leadership experience was as a cavalry officer in the United States Army, where he rose to the rank of Major. He is a decorated veteran of the Persian Gulf War, holds a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Masters in Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
