John Ritenour is the Co-Founder of Insurance Office of America (IOA). Ritenour launched the Florida-based business, and grew Insurance Office of America from a fledgling startup to an industry leader.
Prior to launching IOA, John Ritenour started his insurance career as a door-to-door salesman, and dedicated the time to learn the framework and
infrastructure needed to successfully branch out on his own. Along with his wife. Mr. Ritenour launched Insurance Office of America in 1988. With a modest 3 employees, the company grew swiftly, offering innovative insurance opportunities and strategies that would set IOA apart from competitors. John Ritenour designed and created bespoke insurance types across various industries, allowing him to customize options to fit the needs of varied consumers. John Ritenour holds the Florida General Lines (2-20) and Life and Health (2-18) insurance licenses in Florida, as well as a number of out-of-state, non-resident licenses.
John Ritenour has received numerous accolades throughout his professional career, including the Eloise Trainor Award (Symetra Tour), Entrepreneur of the Year (Dynetech/Crummer), and Success Award for Business Achievement (Success Magazine).
