As the Executive Creative Director and EVP of Lawrence & Schiller, John is one of the
founding architects of our award-winning creative department and helps steer the ship on our agency’s executive leadership team. Over the years he’s worn many hats – including copywriter, broadcast producer, creative director, mentor & coach for all the agency’s creative teams, winning countless awards for his work. Prior to joining L&S in 1986, John was Promotion/Continuity Manager for KDLT-TV and Continuity Writer/Producer for KSFY-TV, both in Sioux Falls. John earned his BS degree in English/Mass Communications from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. He received the South Dakota Advertising Federation’s Creative Legacy Award in 2014.
