John has over eight years of experience in evaluating investment opportunities and performing financial analysis and due diligence. He was also previously a small business owner maintaining active daily operations. In March 2015, he joined Rocket Ventures as the Senior Financial Analyst. In this role, John provides reporting for the Rocket Venture
Fund and prepares, manages, and analyzes due diligence for potential Fund investments. Other responsibilities John handles include accounting, budgeting, and statements, as well as tax and grant reporting.
Prior to joining Rocket Ventures, John was a Senior Associate at Savage Consulting, the contracted Fund Manager for the Rocket Venture Fund at that time. He joined Savage as an Analyst, and for over four years he was an integral part of the fund management team. Before joining Savage Consulting, John was a Financial Advisor at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, where he worked with his clients to develop financial plans tailored to help realize their personal goals.
John earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Toledo, with a concentration in Finance. At UT, John was a member of the UT Student Managed Portfolio Team, managing an equity portfolio for the UT Foundation. John resides in Toledo, where he was born and raised, with his wife Aimee and daughter Olivia
