John T. McDougal is currently developing projects and seeking financing to pursue opportunities in the midstream energy industry through his recently formed entity, Creek Bank Energy, LLC. From 2007 -2012, John served as Senior VP-Rockies/Mid Continent Region for Energy Transfer Partners, where he was responsible for the turnaround, commercial
development, and management of the day-to-day operations of its Rockies assets, as well as for the ultimate divestiture of those assets to Summit Midstream.
Prior to joining ETP, John served as VP of Business Development for Enogex and President of OGE Energy Resources, the natural gas pipeline and marketing subsidiaries of OGE Energy Corp, originating the project that spawned the Mid Continent Express, and Gulf Crossing pipelines. Before taking on these roles at OGE, John led the successful turnaround of the commercial operations of Enogex (approximately 12,000 miles of pipeline, 75 BCF of natural gas storage, and 750,000 MCFD of Processing Plant Capacity) as Chief Commercial Officer.
John holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Oklahoma State University, and has served on the OSU Foundation Board of Governors since 2004 and also on the Board of Advisors for Western Energy Alliance (formerly the Independent Petroleum Association of the Mountain States). He recently joined the Board of Jicarilla Apache Energy Corporation and is a member of Cowboy Technology Angels.
