John McCormack is a co-founder of Sentinel Capital Partners and serves as a Senior Partner. Over more than two decades, he has established a successful, long term middle market private equity record. Before co-founding Sentinel, Mr. McCormack spent six years as a vice president of Smith Barney's private equity affiliate, where he worked
closely with David Lobel.
Before joining Smith Barney, Mr. McCormack spent eight years at Coopers & Lybrand where his principal assignments included conducting due diligence and acquisition reviews of target investment opportunities for private equity firms and strategic buyers. He is a CPA (New York) and holds a BS in accounting from Boston College.
