John has been involved in GKinetic since 2011, acting as site manager and safety officer on all field tests of the technology to date. He was the fabrication lead and operations coordinator for the build and testing of GKinetic’s 1/10thscale turbine at the IFREMER test flume in Boulogne-sur-Mer France. He was Fabrication lead and operations
manager during two rounds of testing of a complete 10kW prototype device at the Limerick Docks. John is a key team member working closely with project stakeholders and possesses all necessary qualifications in boat handling, navigation, safety and VHF communication. He is also a qualified welder and carpenter giving him a broad range of experience that is highly useful for solving issues quickly and efficiently on site.
