John’s 25+ years of experience include leadership positions in general management, marketing, and sales for high technology firms. Before joining RedTail, John was president of Qitera, Inc., a subsidiary of the German social media company.
Earlier, John managed teams at several start-up, high-tech firms where he was instrumental in driving
growth and profitability in positions ranging from director of sales to president. Notably, three of those firms—Easel Corporation, Mystic River Software, and Cobion, Inc.—went public or were acquired during his tenure, providing investor liquidity with substantial returns. Previously, John managed sales of business, IT, telecommunications, and manufacturing systems at McDonnell Douglas Corporation (now Boeing).
John earned a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Pittsburgh and completed the Columbia University Graduate School of Business Marketing Management Executive Program.
