John M. Killian is executive vice president and Chief Credit Officer of Comerica Incorporated. He also is a member of the corporation's Management Policy Committee.
Killian was named to his current position on February 1, 2010.
Previously, he served for nearly eight years as executive vice president, Corporate Credit Policy, in which he
had responsibility for the Special Assets problem loan resolution groups on a nationwide basis.
He previously managed the Credit Administration and Credit Policy processes for the Western and Texas markets. Prior to that, he was responsible for the Personal Financial Services, Business Financial Services, and Specialized Industries divisions within the Texas market. His career with Comerica began in 1974 and has included management positions in Credit Administration, Small Business Banking and Middle Market Banking.
Killian holds a bachelor's degree in Business and master's degree in Finance from the University of Michigan.
His local community involvement includes serving on the State Executive committee of the Texas Chapter of the March of Dimes, and The Dallas Assembly.
