An Emmy award-winning producer and director from Rhode Island, John started Devlo Media in 1997. After working on several independent narrative films, John realized his true passion lies within the genre of non-fiction films. He went on to produce several documentary films, which have gathered him several film festival awards nationally and
internationally. Devlo Media has since produced projects in over 15 countries and across the US. Devlo was recently commissioned by the Al Jazeera Program, Witness, to produce the documentary film Mind Over Battle, the story of former Los Angeles gang member Javier Chavez.
