John Lasseter is an American animator, director, producer, writer, and the Head of Skydance Animation. John has won two Academy Awards for his outstanding work in the animation industry. He is recognized as one of the pioneers of using computer graphics imagery (CGI) for animated movies and is credited with the success of Pixar studios. He served
as the chief creative officer at Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar, the two leading animation studios in the world. He has been instrumental in the success of several box office hits including Toy Story, Frozen, A Bug’s Life, Cars, Moana, Zootopia, and more. He has recently joined Skydance Studios in charge of overall strategy and creative direction.
