Dr. John Kyndt is a biochemist who is actively working in the field of Algae for Enhanced Biofuel production and Glacier Water purification. He obtained his PhD at the University of Ghent in Belgium and is currently a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona (Tucson). He has over 10 years of experience in microbiology,
photobiology, biochemistry, algae cultivation, water purification and renewable energy.
In addition to his scientific background, he also obtained an Associate Degree in Entrepreneurship from the McGuire Entrepreneurship Center (Eller College of Management, University of Arizona). His scientific passion and entrepreneurial spirit has focused his research on solving current global scientific problems and providing economically viable, sustainable solutions.
