John started preparing tax returns at 18 and established a chain of tax firms across the nation from Hartford CT to Los Angeles CA before founding Universal Tax Group in 1984. In addition to preparing tax returns and representing both individual and corporate clients with audit representation he has served on several corporate and banking boards.
He has acted as lead consultant in several corporate bail out engagements as well as counsel on sole proprietor business sales including mergers and acquisitions. Until recently his business consultancy required traveling to Europe and Asia. Having owned and managed over 200 separate real estate transactions including Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Multi Income Units he is the go to guy for any advice on structuring or restructuring your real estate portfolio. It is safe to say not only has John talked the talk but he has walked the walk. John always says work is his golf game and has the hands on experience to help you navigate through any issues. John is an IRS registered tax preparer and tax filing specialist.
