John is currently the Director of Business Technology Strategy for the Specialty Commercial businesses at The Hartford. In this capacity, John supports the National Accounts, Captives, Bond, and Financial Products insurance businesses. He is accountable for ensuring that the software applications supporting those businesses and related functional
areas align to business strategy and meet customer needs as well as ensuring they are positioned for the future. Through his work, John champions finding the ideal intersection of process and technology and envisioning business-driven technology solutions that work for the user. Prior to this role, John was an Operations manager, responsible for building a centralized service model for the bond organization and executing on process improvement projects through technology. John started his career as a bond underwriter. John holds a BS from Seton Hall University and an MBA from UCONN.
