Immediately prior to joining Audience Partners, John worked in the federal Office of Management and Budget as a Senior Advisor to the Federal Chief Performance Officer. From 2004 to 2009, John was the President of the Atlantic Media Company in Washington DC, the publisher of some of the most influential media brands inside the Beltway and around
the nation, including National Journal, CongressDaily and The Atlantic. During his tenure with Atlantic Media, John oversaw an aggressive campaign to transform legacy business lines, achieving record profitability while transforming the organization to capture online and event-based growth opportunities. Prior to Atlantic Media, John held a variety of executive positions with The Advisory Board Company (Nasdaq: ABCO), a preeminent provider of performance benchmarking and best practices research. John’s expertise spans multiple functional and technical areas including strategic planning, financial management, process reengineering, sales force management, and margin enhancement initiatives.
