Mr. John G. Murray is the President, Chief Operating Officer, Assistant Secretary of Hospitality Properties Trust. Mr. Murray has served in various capacities with RMR and its affiliates for over twenty years, including as an Executive Vice President of RMR (and its predecessors) since 1993. Mr. Murray is a member of the 2014 board of directors of
the American Hotel & Lodging Association ("AH&LA"), representing the owners' segment of the AH&LA. Mr. Murray was also the Company's Secretary from 1996 to 2008.
