John Farr became the President and CEO of Pervasive in January 2006, and his executive focus has been on profitable earnings growth while fostering a culture of innovation. As CEO, John has worked to consolidate and streamline organizational and operational structures while making the product investments that provide Pervasive partners and
customers with a compelling combination of performance, flexibility, reliability and low total cost of ownership.
John’s leadership track record in his career with Pervasive dates to when he joined the company soon after at its inception in 1994. A certified public accountant, John initially served in various financial and accounting capacities, including five years as the company's Chief Financial Officer. Under his executive and financial leadership, Pervasive has achieved consecutive quarters of profitability since 2001.
