John leads the finance, human resources and corporate development teams. John joined Castlight after serving as chief operating officer at Achaogen, a biopharmaceutical company. In that role, John managed business development, finance, information technology, and business strategy. Previously, John was vice president of finance and corporate
planning at Genentech, Inc. John received an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in business administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He is a member of the 2012 Class of Henry Crown Fellows at the Aspen Institute and serves on the Achoagen board of directors.
