As CEO of Mastercraft Boats from 1999 until his retirement in 2012, John Dorton has been recognized as one of the top executives in the boating industry. Under his leadership, Mastercraft became the dominant brand in water ski and wakeboard boats.
Prior to becoming
CEO, John served as VP of Marketing at Mastercraft.
He also serves on the Board of Directors of the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and is Vice Chairman of the Boat Manufacturer Division (BMD).
A water-sport enthusiast, John is a competitive water skier and a Director for both the Water Sports Industry Association and World Wakeboard Association.
