John DeLuca has 33 years of R&D experience in nuclear materials (at Oak Ridge National Lab), high temperature catalysts (at Exxon), New Ventures Development (at Monsanto) and 23 years of silicon materials experience at Monsanto and MEMC. John led research efforts in granular Polysilicon, batch CZ, continuous CZ and alternative crystal growth
methods. He was responsible for MEMC's worldwide manufacturing technology: Polysilicon evaluation, sawing, polishing, epitaxiy and cleaning. Â He served 10+ years as CZ Research Group Leader, and 6 years as Corporate VP of Technology (300 staff, $75million/year), developing and implemented into manufacturing many new products and processes. He created a formidable IP estate for MEMC. Â John holds a BS, MS and PhD. Degrees in Engineering from the University of Illinois.
