John grew up in an English family owns a small manufacturing firm of which he became conductor in the year preceding her entrance into University. He started his career as a strategy consultant at Booz, and McKinsey before working in Private Equity with The Carlyle Group, Warburg Pincus and Bridgepoint, including a stint as "turnaround
CEO." E 'joined RBS in 2011 as Global Head of Strategic Investments, has been a member of the RBS Restructuring and member of the Investment Committee "non-core management team", where he worked closely with the Asset Protection Agency. When John joined RBS Restructuring became responsible for a broad portfolio of NPLs (non-performing loans) at the global level and a portfolio of properties directly owned and equity positions for a total of € 100B, about 25% of the budget of RBS. In 2015, when John has left office, this value had fallen to € 5B and reduction included many substantial recoveries for implementation in all asset classes and geographic regions, the results obtained through active asset management. John has a Masters degree from Cambridge University, an MBA from Harvard Business School (where he was awarded the Prix Paul Revere) and has represented Great Britain at the Sydney Olympics.
