Mr. Cornwell has more than 20 years of experience in the biotech industry, including roles at Genentech and Cell Genesys (now a part of Amgen), where he held various R&D, project management and business development positions focused on the commercialization of viral vector systems for gene therapy, immunotherapy programs and cancer vaccines.
Mr. Cornwell holds both a BS in medical biophysics and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
