The startup was bootstrapped in 2015 by Founder John Bornsworth. Originally formed as Peninsula Urban Forestry, we changed our name in January of 2019 to showcase our organic growth and evolved business. Bornsworth is a Board Certified Master Arborist and Registered Consulting Arborist. His background is in ecological restoration and vegetation management. John represents commercial arboriculture on Washington State’s Urban & Community Forestry Council. John is project manager for tree, shoreline and restoration projects. He is an experienced expert witness and has extensive time consulting and providing testimony on a variety of situations related to trees, vegetation and critical areas.
