John Bernot, MD, is Bravado Health's chief medical officer.
Dr. Bernot provides strategic clinical guidance for Bravado Health products and services ensuring that our vision aligns with the most critical needs of patients and the healthcare community in general. Dr. Bernot is also a practicing family medicine physician.
Prior to joining
Bravado Health, Dr. Bernot was vice president of Quality Measurement Initiatives at the National Quality Forum (NQF). Dr. Bernot led NQF's Health Equity Program and health information technology initiatives as well as prioritized the company's measure portfolio. He was an active leader for the evaluation of measures for the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) and the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS). Prior to NQF, Dr. Bernot served as vice president of Product Development and Information Technology for the Quality Indicator Project, a subsidiary of the Maryland Hospital Association.
Dr. Bernot earned a doctorate from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science degree from Duquesne University.
Dr. Bernot resides in North Carolina with his wife Kelsey.
