Joe founded DoApp (originally named PagePow) in 2007. Previously, he was employed at Google as its first user interface (UI) designer. He led UI design for many Google products including AdSense, Video, Print, Images, and Groups. He was also a key player in the invention of Google's Taskbar, AdSense, and Gmail's keyboard shortcuts. In addition, he developed patented technology used in Google's Print, Video, Gmail, and Desktop products. Prior to Google, Joe was with IBM for 3.5 years as a visual designer and programmer, after receiving a degree in computer graphics with a minor in computer science from Purdue University. His interest in the Internet began as a web developer at Intel Corporation.
