Joe is a co-founder of FinCEN Guidance. FinCEN Guidance helps corporations navigate their requirements for FinCEN Beneficial Ownership Information reporting. From 2018-2022, Joe was the CEO of 4giving - a platform that helps individuals and nonprofits raise and collect funds. He founded DoApp in 2007: DoApp developed mobile platforms for
healthcare, real estate and news media resulting in three separate exits in 2012 (Axial Healthcare), 2014 (CoreLogic) & 2016 (Newscycle, now Naviga). He was employed at Google as its first user interface (UI) designer. He led UI design for many Google products including AdSense, Video, Print, Images, and Groups. He was also a key player in the invention of Google's Taskbar, AdSense, and Gmail's keyboard shortcuts. In addition, he developed patented technology used in Google's Print, Video, Gmail, and Desktop products. Prior to Google, Joe was with IBM for 3.5 years as a visual designer and programmer, after receiving a degree in computer graphics with a minor in computer science from Purdue University. His interest in the Internet began as a web developer at Intel Corporation.
