Joe Sexton is the President of Worldwide Field Operations at AppDynamics. Joe joined AppDynamics in 2012 and is responsible for all field operations, including sales, marketing, business development and customer success.
Prior to joining AppDynamics, Joe was Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales at McAfee, where he was responsible for
$2.5 billion in annual sales and managed an organization of 2,000 people. Under his leadership McAfee doubled its sales, resulting in a $7.7 billion acquisition by Intel in 2011.
Before joining McAfee, Joe served as Senior Vice President of the Americas at Mercury Interactive, where he helped triple sales to $1 billion by establishing Mercury’s leadership in the Enterprise market. While there, Hewlett Packard acquired Mercury Interactive in 2006 for $4.5 billion.
Joe has also held executive sales positions at EMC, Integrated Concepts, and CA Technologies.
Joe graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
