Joe Beacom is the Chief Safety and Operations Officer at Landstar System, Inc. He is responsible for the company’s safety performance, operations and capacity development initiatives. Those areas of the organization include accident prevention, regulatory compliance, capacity sourcing & procurement and operational support for Landstar’s agent
network.
Mr. Beacom joined Landstar in 1993 and has held various management positions in support of the company’s efforts to develop capacity and provide operational support consistent with the organizations core values of safety, independence, qualify service and opportunity. Prior to joining Landstar, Mr. Beacom served in various sales and operations positions in the less-than-truckload sector of the transportation industry.
