Jody Davids joined Agrium Inc. in 2014 as CIO after a four-month engagement as the company’s information technology strategist. As the senior executive overseeing information assets, operations and policy, Davids is responsible for ensuring that the company’s information technology investments are aligned with its strategic business objectives.
Prior to joining Agrium, Davids was senior vice president of Global Business Services and CIO for Best Buy Co. Inc. In this role, Davids was responsible for establishing and managing enterprise shared services and led strategy development and technology delivery to support global expansion and drive cost efficiencies.
Prior to joining Best Buy in 2010, Davids spent 10 years at Cardinal Health, most recently as EVP of global shared services and CIO. During her tenure at Cardinal Health, she implemented an IT strategy that consolidated company customer, financial, product, supplier and people information, which enabled the organization’s tremendous growth.
After earning her bachelor of science in business administration from San Jose State University, she began her career in technology as a programmer/analyst with General Electric and then spent 15 years at Apple Computer Inc. Davids also possess a master of business administration from San Jose State University.
