Founder | Food & Health Innovations
During my studies at Wageningen University, I co-founded Tinyfoods, a start-up focused on familiarizing consumers with the consumption of edible insects as a sustainable protein
source. The start-up has been acquired after just 2 years of existence and has been a rich experience. During this time I lead the Marketing and Sales strategy, expanding business from the Netherlands to the Benelux area with sales to the UK. I developed extensive knowledge of business modeling, business development, marketing, and general management.
I have continued to work in the Food & Agri startup sector, at StartLife as a coach and analyst and as program manager for startups at the BCGV. I have extensive knowledge and a vast network in the domains of Food, Health and Agritech, and am highly interested in disruptive innovative technologies. From my academic & entrepreneurial background, I bring a mix of skills that can take new businesses to the next level.
Currently, I am working on disruptive innovations as business development manager Health, Nutrition and Behavior at OnePlanet Research Center As Business Development Manager I am responsible for attracting funding and developing public-private partnerships to bring various innovations to the market within the Health, Nutrition and Behavior domains.
