Jin Ho is a Principal at the Samsung Catalyst Fund (SCF), Samsung Electronics’ evergreen multi-stage venture capital fund that invests in the new data economy and strategic ideas for Samsung’s Mobile, Device Solutions and Consumer Electronics groups. Investment spans across Digital Health, Automotive, Robotics, Internet of Things, Artificial
Intelligence, Cloud Infrastructure, AI Solutions, and Deep Tech space. Previously, he served as a biotech research scientist at the Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT) and as a senior engineer for Samsung’s CTO office.
Jin Ho earned his BS in Chemical and Biological Engineering, and his Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Seoul National University. He was also a postdoctoral associate at MIT prior to joining Samsung in 2011.
