Jim Hyde is an international public company CEO, Board Director, and former Olympic athlete. Hyde was most recently President, CEO and Director at publicly traded, regional wireless carrier nTelos Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: NTLS) from 2009 through 2014.
Hyde was also President and CEO of publicly listed Lumos Networks Corporation (NASDAQ:
LMOS), a fiber-based, enterprise infrastructure and bandwidth transport company from October 2011, immediately following its separation from nTelos, through April 2012 and was a Non-Executive Board Director at Lumos from October 2011 until August 2014.
Previously, Hyde was employed by Deutsche Telekom and VoiceStream Wireless from 1997 to 2009 and was appointed CEO and Managing Director of T-Mobile, UK (a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom) in January 2006, and served as a member of the T-Mobile International Management Committee and as an Executive Advisor to the T-Venture Funds.
Hyde has served on the Board of Directors, and was Vice Chairman of the Board for the Competitive Carriers Association (formerly the Rural Cellular Association), and also served on the Board of Directors of CTIA, the largest wireless trade association in the United States.
Jim was a member of the 1988 USA Olympic Weightlifting Team that competed in the Summer Games of the XXIV Olympiad in Seoul, South Korea.
