Jim graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Natural Resources and Environment in 1995 and from New York University with an MBA in Finance and International Business in 2003. Jim has over 20 years of securities industry experience as both a buy and sell side trader. From 1995 through 2005, Jim has held positions at Bank of America,
ABN Amro and NatWest Markets. From 2005 through 2009, Jim managed the trading operation of Arience Capital, a value oriented long/short equity hedge fund with over $1bn in assets under management. Most recently, he was a managing director in institutional equity sales and trading at Canaccord Financial before joining RiverPark in 2012. Jim is married and lives with his wife and 3 children in Princeton, NJ.
