Jiangwei co-founded XTAL in January 2014 and brings 20 years of experience in commercial EDA software development. Prior to XTAL, Jiangwei spent 2 year in Beijing working on machine learning application for online advertisement. Previous to that, Jiangwei was the Senior Director of Engineering at Brion (acquired by ASML in 2007) responsible for OPC
product. Jiangwei was Senior Software Architect at Synopsys (through the acquisition of Avant! in 2002). Jiangwei started out his career as R&D Engineer at TMA (which was acquired by Avant! in 1997) after graduating from Stanford and USTC.
