Jhonson Charles is serving as capacity building manager under a USAID funded project in Haiti to build the capacity of the Haiti Ministry of Health in Informatics, Health Information System, Strategic information, the implementation and the deployment of the District Health Information System (DHI2) for health program data collection, storage,
aggregation and usage. Before this, he has been Deputy Strategic Information Advisor for the AIDS Relief project supporting Monitoring and Evaluation and information usage for decision-making.
Jhonson interest and dedication has been for the past 8 years in supporting data quality and data use inside health facilities for HIV/AIDS patients to enhance quality of care, the implementation of Electronic Medical Records in Haiti remote area, Implementing Health Information System and Health Program Outcome Monitoring and evaluation.
