Mr. Coombs has served as Chief Financial Officer for several companies, most recently for Fuse Science, Inc., a publicly traded consumer products company, developing novel delivery systems for sports nutritional applications and Concordia Pharmaceuticals, Inc., an early stage pharmaceutical company developing a novel oncology drug acquired by
Kadmon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Prior to those roles, Mr. Coombs served as Chief Financial Officer for Verid, Inc., a SAAS provider of authentication and verification services to the financial services industry from 2003 until 2007 when it was acquired by RSA, a division of EMC Corporation. Prior to Verid, Mr. Coombs served as Chief Financial Officer for SANO Corporation, a transdermal delivery pharmaceutical company from 1991-1998. Mr. Coombs began his career at Price Waterhouse Coopers and KPMG Peat Marwick in public accounting. Mr. Coombs holds a B.B.A. degree in Accounting and a Certificate in Tax Studies from the University of Miami.
