Jeffrey Reece is a Director in the firm’s Shanghai office and is responsible for coverage and execution for many of Cogent Partners’ Asian clients. Prior to joining Cogent in 2011, Mr. Reece was a Vice President at Ewing Management Group (formerly Carlyle Management Group), where he was responsible for growth equity investments in China and special
situation investments in the United States. Previously Mr. Reece was an Associate at Oliver Wyman Consulting (formerly Mercer Management Consulting), where he advised automotive, aviation and manufacturing clients on strategic and operational issues.
Mr. Reece holds a BS in Economics from Utah State University. Mr. Reece is conversational in Russian and Mandarin.
