For nearly two decades, Jefferson has guided business & technology innovation at the convergence of the Communications, Media and Technology industries. As this convergence takes shape, he has been focused on the wireless and mobility industry, working with network operators, OEMs, content providers and emerging tech players to create
executable growth strategies through the entire product life-cycle.
Jefferson built businesses on his belief that success comes from big picture thinking, mixed with detail-oriented execution. His ability to identify new patterns in technology has helped his clients navigate complex landscapes. He works with global leaders to break down complex problems into compelling stories, define a roadmap of key use cases, create innovative biz models and identify new addressable markets.
As the wireless industry reshapes lives, 5G mobility will infuse itself in new industries, enabling innovation. For the last five years, Jefferson has worked on the convergence of AR in a mobile lifestyle, VR in a nomadic setting, the enablement of AI and the collision course between smart homes, autonomous vehicles and smart cities.
Jefferson is a regular speaker at Mobile World Congress and CES and has appeared on CNN and Mobile World Live TV. His perspectives are featured regularly in publications that include The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Fortune, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, Wired and BGR.
Previously, Jefferson was a Senior Partner at IBB Consulting, acquired by Accenture Strategy in Oct. 2017. At IBB, Jefferson built and led IBB’s Global Wireless, Mobility & Innovation Group and owned the P&L. He assembled a world-class team of x-functional wireless experts and opened new tier 1 clients for IBB. His successful track record is complemented by a passionate focus on giving back to support youth education.
Jefferson holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.
