Jeff Wooster is the former Global Sustainability Director for Dow Chemical’s Packaging and Specialty Plastics division. Over 33 years at the company, Jeff founded and led projects such as the Global Packaging Project and the Ocean Plastics Leadership Network.
A lifelong chemical engineer, Jeff has 45 patents and over 100 publications and public
presentations. For the last decade, he’s been focused on plastics sustainability and the issue of waste, spearheading a number of sustainability programs and leading conversations on how we build a sustainable, circular future for our industry and our planet.
Jeff is a sought after speaker and contributor on various sustainability-related topics, and serves on the Board of Directors for Charter Next Generation and environmental non-profit GreenBlue. Previously, he was the President of the American Institute for Packaging and the Environment (AMERIPEN), a Washington, DC-based trade association advocating for the entire packaging value chain.
