Dr. Rush is the Co-Founder of PMB and started his healthcare real estate career in 1989. He dedicated his efforts to growing the business and raising capital until PMB made its programmatic DownREIT deal with Nationwide Health Properties (NHP) in 2008. Jeff was a board member at NHP from 2008 until 2011 and was instrumental in negotiating the
merger of NHP into Ventas in 2011. Dr. Rush practiced radiology for over 30 years and utilized his experience to bring a physician’s perspective to PMB’s development approach. Dr. Rush was also at the forefront of the initial adoption of the MRI as a common radiologic modality through the formation of a mobile MRI company in the early 80’s that was among the first to make MRI’s economically feasible for a typical hospital.
