Jeff has 20+ years experience in consumer marketing and business strategy at leading companies and start-ups managing multifaceted programs in mobile, social media, social gaming, e-commerce, and partnerships.
He currently serves as CMO at DistroKid, the world’s largest distributor of independent music. Today, more than two million artists rely
on DistroKid to get their music into Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, Tidal, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and more. Artists can upload unlimited music, create custom artwork, track streams, and keep 100% of their earnings.
Prior to DistroKid, Jeff was SVP Marketing at Picsart, the world’s #1 creative platform with 150M+ monthly active creators. Before that, Jeff spent 5 years at Shazam managing consumer marketing and CRM. He helped Shazam become a top 25 global consumer mobile app and was instrumental in growing MAU from 30M to over 120M.
Earlier, Jeff was Marketing Director at Friendster (the social networking pioneer) for over 5 years, and was with the company from its early days, through the company's re-start in 2006. He was part of the team that built Friendster into the largest social network in Asia and a top 10 global website in 2008, and successfully sold it to a large Asian media conglomerate in 2009.
Jeff has also held a series of marketing management positions at Napster, Roxio, Priceline.com, Rivet Games and Walker Digital. Jeff founded Internet radio site mixcycle.com and was also Promotions Director for WHUS Radio, UConn. Jeff holds a BA in Marketing and Communications from the University of Connecticut.
