Jeff Nicholson has over 25 years of experience as a commercial construction professional. Jeff’s experience ranges from the electrical and life safety fields, to the construction of hundreds of projects across Arizona, California, and Washington D.C. As Director, Mr. Nicholson has been involved with numerous recovery efforts ranging from small
to large claims, many of which being made up of multiple sites, thus providing him extended experience in complex and diverse losses.
Jeff has a sound background in construction consulting with a concentration in the restoration sector of the business. Prior to his employment with J.S. Held, Jeff held the role as a senior project manager with several general contracting firms, giving him the experience and knowledge to understand the structures, building systems, and finishes of commercial buildings. His work in commercial construction also provided Mr. Nicholson the opportunity to work on teams building large hotels.
Controlling costs of recovery projects, job-site monitoring, and working with contractors and other consultants to provide project controls are a few of the numerous consulting tasks Jeff Nicholson performs regularly. Mr. Nicholson is Leed trained and is certified as an OSHA 30 Construction Certified Card Holder, as well as holds an IICRC - FSRT/Fire and Smoke Remediation Technician certification. He previously held certification for ASHE Healthcare Constructor, trained in ICRA, Infection Control Risk and Assessment.
