Jeff Lamb began his career with IBM in 1980 to 1987. Leading one of IBM’s largest accounts, Federal Express, Jeff was a consistent performer with numerous 100% clubs and Golden Circle.
In 1987, Jeff left IBM to start Venture SystemSource, Inc., a technology company specializing in the distribution and leasing of IBM and refurbished IBM
equipment. For over 19 years that company had an annual growth rate of 25% reaching $93mm in annual sales. Venture grew with offices in 8 cities reaching from Manhattan in New York City to its headquarters in Jackson, MS. The company was sold to private equity in 2006.
While leading Venture SystemSource, Inc. Jeff started another company in 1996, to meet new opportunities using the internet in healthcare. The internet provided a common protocol for the communication between hardware vendors and applications. Jeff created one of the nation’s first Physician Portal companies tying all clinical applications into a real time common view of patient data. The application went on to become one of the first successful Health Information Exchange applications in the country with the Western North Carolina Data Link project. Today, the application is installed in hundreds of hospitals across the United States and Canada. AccessPt., the portal, was sold to Medseek, Inc. in 2006.
Having interfaced to over 175 clinical applications, Jeff wanted to learn the financial side of healthcare and joined OPTUM in 2008 to learn the healthcare revenue cycle, claims, denial management, ICD9 and ICD10 coding, Computer Assisted Coding, Accountable Care Organizations and continue in his knowledge of Health Information Exchange.
With the emphasis in Accountable Care achieving the Triple Aim (highest patient satisfaction, best outcome and the lowest cost), along with Patient Engagement and Education, Jeff immediately took hold of the advantages of short form video and joined the Transilio team.
Jeff is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor’s Degree in Administration. He achieved numerous recognitions at Ole Miss including Order of Omega. Jeff sits on the Foundation Board of Union University and is heavily involved with the renewal of pastors in the art of expository preaching as Vice Chairman of the Board with Olford Ministries International.
Jeff resides in Jackson, MS with his wife, Lisa and has two adult children.
