Jeff Hamm is a cybersecurity executive, incident response leader, and founder with more than 25 years of experience in law enforcement, digital forensics, and global cyber incident response. He has led complex, high-impact investigations across Europe and North America, translating deep technical findings into clear, actionable decisions for
executive leadership.
Jeff spent a decade at Mandiant as a Technical Director, where he helped scale global Incident Response and Managed Defense operations and led forensic and IR teams across Europe. He later held senior leadership roles at Deutsche Cyber-Sicherheitsorganisation (DCSO) and Wipro, where he led incident response consulting across EMEA and APAC.
He is the founder of HammNet UG, a Germany-based cybersecurity consultancy, and the founder of Evidenx, a cybersecurity technology company focused on modernizing digital forensics and incident response through AI-assisted analysis. Evidenx applies machine learning to low-impact forensic artifacts to accelerate investigations, improve signal-to-noise, and help organizations understand attacker activity earlier and with greater confidence.
Jeff is also an educator and author. He co-authored Digital Forensics (2017) and has taught digital forensics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He continues to teach and mentor investigators and responders through professional training programs.
