Dr. Jeff Geschwind has dedicated his life to finding new and effective methods of diagnosing, treating, and researching cancer. Throughout his distinguished career, Jeff has made tremendous impacts on the field of liver cancer research and treatment. Originally from France, Dr. Geschwind began his medical studies at the University of Paris, where

he earned degrees in both biology and physics. He advanced his education at the University of Paris School of Medicine and the University of Pennsylvania before receiving his medical degree from Boston University.

Currently, Dr. Jeff Geschwind serves a number of roles in the medical community of New Haven, CT. He is the Chairman of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the Yale School of Medicine, where he also teaches courses on Radiology and Oncology. Furthermore, Dr. Geschwind is the Radiologist in Chief at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Jeff Geschwind has worked for a variety of medical organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Hepatobiliary Task Force of the National Cancer Institute, the Radiological Society of North America, the American Association for Cancer Research, the International Liver Cancer Association and remains an active member of the Society of Interventional Radiology and the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe. He also serves as a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology.

Dr. Geschwind has authored or co-authored hundreds of scientific articles that largely focus on the interplay of liver cancer and interventional oncology. Jeff has also received a number of medical awards in his profession including the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who’s Who. Jeff Geschwind recently became the Director of Oncology at USA Vein Clinics and USA Fibroied and Vascular Centers.

In any spare time he can find, Dr. Jeff Geschwind is passionate about traveling, especially in Europe. Holland and Southwest France are a few of his favorite regions to visit. He loves soccer and is an avid fan of Ajax Amsterdam since he was years young. He also has a passion for Maine Coon cats and enjoys that pets act as a reminder to slow down and enjoy the simplicity of life, much like his cats do.
