Jayson Chong is the co-founder of Clipp and a seasoned food industry insider.
Beyond his role at Clipp, Jayson has been the Chief Executive Officer of Kulu Desserts since August 2011. This venture includes the flagship Kulu Brand, Dumpling Town, and Smoove Ice Cream brands, all of which focus on introducing innovative dessert and food concepts
with unique twists on traditional offerings.
Jayson also co-owns Smoove Ice Cream, a handcrafted ice cream cakes and ice cream business established in October 2020. Additionally, he is an investor and senior advisor for Myuzakka, a Japanese specialty store, where he provides strategic guidance on digital marketing, e-commerce, and supplier and vendor management.
Jayson holds a degree in architecture from City Tech, CUNY. In 2014, he was awarded "Top 50 Asian Startup Entrepreneur NYC" by Ming Pao Daily.
