Jay is the Founder of JKL Technologies (http://www.jkltech.in), which specializes in SaaS products on the cloud. Currently working on A(P)ertain, a mobile SDK providing backend services for Mobile Developers.
JKL Technologies is also known for Cloud Consultation for various enterprises to move from their current intranet to the Cloud.
Jay has previously been with Vembu for the past 8 years architecting the intimate details of the StoreGrid Online Backup Software for the Managed Service Providers and Hosting Providers.
Jay has over 12 years of experience working with Storage & Networking domain with rich experience in building products from scratch to a profitable business.
Prior to Vembu, he was working as a Project Leader in AdventNet (currently Zoho Corporation) building products relevant to the Telecom and Network Management domain. His experience includes building ManageEngine JMX Studio from scratch and working on AdventNet Agent Toolkit Java Edition.
He started his career as a Software Engineer Trainee in AdventNet soon after graduating from Madras University and grew on to lead AdventNet Agent Toolkit team.
His ambition to start a Hi-Tech startup out of his hometown Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India has just been realized.
Specialties: Jay has over 15 yrs. experience various technologies from Core Java/J2EE with Web 2.0 to writing highly reliable cross-platform C/C++ applications and with SQL (MySQL/Oracle) & NoSQL databases.
His expertise also includes knowledge on architecting and deploying highly scalable Applications on the Cloud (Amazon AWS, AppEngine, Azure).
His specialization includes interactions with Customers/Partners to generate market & product requirements and prioritizing them to be included in the product.
